Silverplate cheese scoop with mother of pearl handle. This is a type of utensil used to serve soft or semi-soft cheeses, like a Stilton. The scoop is shaped like a spade/shovel with a concave curve on the sides. The reverse of the scoop is engraved with the presentation inscription: "Presented to the Officers' Mess C.C.I.S.C. by 2nd Lieutenant G.P. Elliot, 10th R.Grs., 1st Graduate From The School."
