Description |
A: Red enamel and gold gilt lapel pin. The pin is in the shape of a maple leaf with the legion symbol on the top. At the bottom, ONTARIO is written in gold gilt over white enamel. The letters V E, which represent V-E Day are positioned in the centre with the first and last years of WWII on either side. The pin is secured with a Butterfly Locking Clutch. B: Rectangular gold gilt and enamel pin comemmorating 65 years since the liberation of Netherlands in 1945. The word LIBERATION is at the top with the Dutch and Canadian flags positioned on either side of an orange enamel tulip with 65 YEARS written inside. the year range 1945-2010 is written below the flags in gold gilt while "of the NETHERLANDS" is in orange enamel below that. At the very bottom of the pin, the words "BONDS OF FRIENDSHIP" are also written in gold gilt. On the back of the plastic bag, there is a "Made in China" sticker Both pins are secured with a butterfly clutch. |
