Pair of white trail snowshoes with canvas webbing harness, snowshoe has a white metal frame with curved metal traction device on the bottom. The webbing is braided wire. The binding is cotton webbing in both 5cm and 2.5cm widths with two white spring buckles and wax coating on the loose ends. Snowshoes were of particular use "in dense forest and around the bivouac area," and were easier to learn how to use than skis, though they were not as quick. |
