Description |
a) Royal Canadian Regiment brassard with three badges. The brassard is made of OD green fabric with an elastic armband and a slot cutout at the top. A black and royal blue badge with yellow lettering reading. "The Royal Canadian Regiment" is machine-sewn onto the brassard. Below that, a red machine embroidered "Canada" badge with a yellow maple leaf surrounded by a laurel wreath is also machine-sewn on. At the bottom, a "corporal" chevron rank insignia is also machine sewn. Circa 1950s-Present ; Made in Canada ; Korean War Era b) Royal Canadian Regiment brassard with two felt badges. The brassard is made of OD green fabric with an elastic armband and a slot cutout at the top. A black and royal blue badge with yellow lettering reading. "The Royal Canadian Regiment" is machine-sewn onto the brassard. Below that, a red "Canada" badge with a bullion wire-embroidered maple leaf surrounded by a laurel wreath has been hand sewn onto the brassard. This design of the Canadian Brigade badge was popular during the Korean War. Circa 1950s-Present ; Possibly Made in Japan ; Korean War Era c) Princess Patricia's Canadian Light Infantry brassard with a Force Mobile Command badge. The brassard is made of OD green fabric with an elastic armband and a slot cutout at the top. A red PPCLI badge is machine-sewn to the brassard under the slot cutout. The Force Mobile Command badge is a white square on its point with a red border. In the centre, a red maple leaf is superimposed on four blue arrows pointing to the corners and the badge has been hand sewn onto the brassard. On the reverse side there are manufacturing stamps, indicating that the brassard was made by Adams Knitting Co. Circa 1960s-1980s ; Made in Canada ; Reunification |
