Ribbon Bars belonging to Sgt Joseph N. Bennett. Awards attributed to each ribbon listed from left to right. A) Korea Medal, Ribbon: Yellow, with two blue stripes; Canadian Volunteer Service Medal for Korea, Ribbon: Yellow with a broad stripe in UN blue (7mm) at each edge and a central stripe of red, white and red (all 2mm) A yellow plastic strip has been secured to the back of the bar. The bar is secured with two pins, left is a brass flathead locking clutch, right is a gold gilt butterfly clutch. B) Korea Medal, [see above]; Canadian Volunteer Service Medal for Korea, [see above]; Special Service Medal, Ribbon: A dark green central stripe (12mm) flanked by stripes of white (5mm) and red (5mm) at the edges. The back has been sewn together and is secured with three pins (missing clutches). C) United Nations Korea Medal, Ribbon: Seventeen narrow stripes alternating pale blue and white; United Nations Medal UNFICYP, Ribbon: Pale blue with central white stripe bordered in dark blue; Canadian Centennial Medal, Ribbon: White with four stripes (1mm) equally spaced and red stripes (5mm) at the edges; Canadian Forces Decoration, Ribbon: 38mm orange-red divided into four equal parts by three thin white stripes, Rosette indicating 22 years of service The back is sewn together and has three pins for fastening (Missing clutches) |
