Description |
Pewter figurine of an RCR Officer, circa 1935, affixed to a two-tier wooden base. The Officer is in ceremonial uniform with a Wolseley helmet and sword. The sword and belt are seperate from the figurine and can be removed. The base of the pewter figurine is engraved with "Special Edition 44/50". On the front of the wooden base is an engraved flat plaque with the RCR logo and "Lieutenant-Colonel The Royal Canadian Regiment c. 1935". On the bottom of the base is a white sticker with an illustrated soldier wearing a Shakko cap, that says "Crafted in pewter Made in Canada by Coronet Miniatures P.O. Box 331, Whitby, Ont. L1N 5S4". Written in ink on the wood itself is "44/50" and an indecipherable signature. |
