Trousers / Parka, Men's Camouflage, White |
Description |
White trousers (A) and parka (B) set, to be worn over the darker-coloured winter parka and trousers as camouflage in snowy environments. Trousers (A): Lightweight, white pants to wear over the darker coloured trousers as camouflage in snowy environments. The garment is secured by a large plastic button and a cord drawstring that goes around the entire waist. The pant legs can also be tightened at the ankle with drawstrings. There are three sections of cord stitched to the inside of the waist band. Just below the waistband there are covered vertical slits to allow the wearer to access their pockets underneath. Two cotton labels are sewn onto the inside of the pants, one larger label with directions for wear, and a smaller identifying label. The smaller label indicates that the design for this garment was from 1953, but that this piece was manufactured in August 1970. Parka (B): Lightweight, white jacket with hood to wear over the darker coloured parka as camouflage in snowy environments. The garment has one seam down the back, one on the top of each shoulder down the arm, and is closed with 5 large buttons. It can be tightened to fit the body with one drawstring around the hood, one around the waist, and two at the bottom at the front and the back. Just below the waistband there are covered slits to allow the wearer to access their pockets underneath. Two cotton labels are sewn onto the inside of the left flap, one larger label with directions for wear, and a smaller identifying label. The smaller label indicates that the design for this garment was from 1954, but that this piece was manufactured in October 1974. A green paper tag has been pinned to the inside of the collar, printed with "Eight", a solid horizontal line, and the number "8166". |
