Description |
A sword belonging to Charles Foulkes. The blade is eteched with floral patterns and Queen Elizabeth II's cypher on both sides. There is a maker's mark on the blade near the handle which says "BY APPOINTMENT / WILKINSON / SWORD / LTD / MADE IN / ENGLAND". On the other side of the blade near the handle is a six-pointed star. The hand gaurd also has Queen Elizabeth's cypher and is decorated with cut-outs and etchings. There is a gold coloured braided rope attached near the end of the pommel. |
