The photo depicts 15 men arranged into a line of 10 standing in the back row and 5 men seated in the front row. All 10 men standing are wearing their hockey uniform consisting of a light-coloured sweater with a thick dark horizontal stripe across the chest (one man appears to have "RCR" in light letters across this band), hockey shorts, socks, and skates. Some men appear to be holding hockey sticks. The front row consists of 3 men in uniform, and 2 men in goaltending gear sitting alternately. The two men in goaltending gear have "RCR" across their sweaters and are wearing leg pads. They are both holding goalie sticks. All three of the men in uniform are wearing fur caps, but only the men on either end of the row have cap badges.
