Two letter correspondances sent to Mr. A. G. McColl, Superintendent of Secondary Schools for London, Ontario. a) Letter sent by Captain G.A MacLachlan, ADC, RCN(R) Commanding Officer of HMCS PREVOST on October 3, 1960. It is about a winter training program for selected High School Students, followed by a summer period of training with the Royal Canadian Navy (Reserve) and the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps. Included is an invitation to view training facilities. Also included is a second document outlining Age, Uniforms, Drills, Pay, Leave, Training, Sports, Inquiries, and General information for each Royal Canadian Navy (Reserve) and the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps. b) The second letter is from Terry T. Ferris (Lt.-Col.), Chief Instructor of the No. 9 Cadet Corps, sent January 10th, 1961. The letter contains the Interim Report for the Cadets in London Secondary Schools. This includes information around the reorganization of Cadets in the fall and winter of 1960 and some training highlights. |
